The ICM7228DIPI is a 8-Digit, Microprocessor-Compatible, LED Display Decoder Driver. The Intersil ICM7228DIPI display driver interfaces microprocessor to an 8-digit, 7-segment, numeric LED display. Data is written to the ICM7228DIPI display RAM in parallel random access format. The ICM7228DIPI drives common cathode displays. Applications include: Instrumentation, Test Equipment, Hand Held Instruments, Bargraph Displays, Numeric and Non-Numeric Panel Displays.
